The Graduate - Mike Nichols (1967)

I had seen this movie before...a loooooong time ago. (No, not when it first came out, silly. I wasn't born yet!!)

Overall, a good movie. Is it great? Not really. Is there a reason it's on the list? Yes. I think more for it's iconic place in film and not because it's an amazing movie.

This did make it on to AFI's 100 Years ...100 Movie Quotes...twice. One quote is 'Mrs. Robinson, you are trying to seduce me Aren't you?' The second one...you will have to figure it out.

I did like the soundtrack...Simon and Garfunkel. And yes...that's where the song 'Mrs. Robinson' comes from. Imagine that.

One word to describe 'The Graduate': Plastics.
